Helen (“Brownie”) Caulkins Brown, died Sunday, she was 84.

She graduated from Vanderbilt University and worked for many years as an accountant in the family business, Browns Car Center.

She was a Deacon and Elder at First Presbyterian Church as well as member of the choir. She was also on the board of directors of the library.

Survivors include her sister, Harriet Moore, two sons, Robert Hutton Brown, III and wife Melissa and David Caulkins Brown and wife Andra and 4 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family rsuggests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski c/o 202 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478 or the Giles County Public Library c/o 122 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478.

Visitation will be 5 until 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday) at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall. There will be a private burial at the family plot in Fayetteville.
