Lanny Whitman McCormack of Prospect, Tennessee died Thursday May 2nd, 2024, at his home in Giles County. He was born in Colbert County, Alabama and was 74 years old. He was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army in Vietnam and a C-141 pilot for the Unites States Air Force. He was a farmer and retired from NOAA.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Giles County Public Library c/o 122 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478.
Survivors include brothers, Terry Zollie and wife Kathy McCormack of Killen, Bartt Randall and wife Stacy McCormack of Pulaski, Daughter, Mary Nash McCormack of Campbellsville, Son, Hunter Whitman and wife Angela McCormack of Eads, 6 Grandchildren, 1 Nephew, and 1 Niece.
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Lanny Whitman McCormack.
