An Ardmore man faces additional charges for  allegedly feeding a squirrel methamphetamine.

Mickey Paulk has been on the run since a search warrant was executed last week at his home. Law enforcement is continuing to follow leads in Tennessee and Alabama in regards to Paulk's whereabouts.

The Alabama Game and Fish Division Department of Conservation has now issued a warrant as it is illegal to possess wild animals.

Paulk is also facing possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

The squirrel Paulk had in his residence was later seized and released.

Other individuals may be facing charges including assisting a fleeing felon.
