Donald Carthol Pettus, 75, of Lexington, passed away June 19, 2021, at his residence.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator of 53 years, a Baptist, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include:

            Wife:  Margaret Ann Johnston Pettus

            Son:  Chris Pettus (Tammy)

            Daughter:  Andrea Rose (Bryan)

            Grandchildren:  Jessica Pettus Smith (Ryan), Madison Kate Pettus, Alyssa Gayle Rose &

                                                Estoria Ann Rose

            Great grandchild:  Willow Jane Smith

Preceded in death by:

            Parents:  Carthol Alonzo Pettus & Birdie Lucille Davis Pettus

            Brother:  Randal Dwight Pettus

There will be a graveside service for Mr. Pettus, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 11:00am, at Pettus Cemetery, with Jerry Coker officiating.  Burial will follow in Pettus Cemetery with full military honors.
