Mr. Robert Eugene (Bobby) Ellis, also known to his grandchildren as peepaw, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center after a short and unexpected illness. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather who will be missed tremendously.

He is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Thomas Ellis and Clara Laney Hale; Two brothers, Thomas Edward (Tommy) Ellis and James Leo (Jimmy) Ellis.

He is survived by his Wife of 46 years, Joyce Ellis and one sister, Mary Evelyn Ellis (Delton) Alley; Five Grandchildren, Bobby Joe Bunt, Sherri (Stephen) Leckie, Adam Davis, Crystal (Kieth) Jolly, Alicia (Cody) Sensat; 5 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Kyle Connor officiating.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
