MYRTLE JAYNE MATTHEWS , 77 OF KILLEN, AL, DIED TUESDAY. SHE WAS A NATIVE OF LAWRENCE COUNTY, A RETIRED POULTRY FARMER, AND A MEMBER OF GRAY'S CHAPEL CHURCH.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS: SCOTTY MATTHEWS SR OF LEXINGTON, AL, AND BRIAN MATTHEWS OF ROGERSVILLE, AL; ONE DAUGHTER: GINGER MATTHEWS BARNES OF KILLEN, AL.; THREE BROTHERS: LAMBERT LEE SPRINGER OF KILLEN, AL., RUFUS REEDER SPRINGER OF KILLEN, AL. AND LARRY BUFORD SPRINGER OF FLORIDA; SISTER:INDA CORA SPRINGER OLIVER OF JACKSON; 8 GRANDCHILDREN.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MYRTLE JAYNE MATTHEWS WILL BE SATURDAY AT 1 AT LORETTO MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH BURIAL AT RICHARDSON CHAPEL CEMETERY. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS FRIDAY FROM 5 TO 8.
