A presentation about the proposed new school for Giles County will be held prior to the November 9th meeting of the Giles County School Board.

The board will meet Thursday at 5 p.m. in regular session in the Richland School auditorium. The new school presentation will begin at 4 p.m.

The Lady Richland Soccer Team will be recognized during the regular meeting. The Lady Raiders recently went to the state playoffs in Murfreesboro. They made it to the first round of the TSSAA Division I Class tournament, but lost to the Signal Mountain team by a score of 1-0 in overtime.

There are several new business items, including first reading policies, a bid for lab equipment, a bus quote and generators for two schools.
