Richard Allen Forsyth, age 71, of Lester, died Sunday January 21st, 2024 at Athens Limestone Hospital.

He was born in Athens, retired from General Motors.

Graveside services will be 11am Friday January 26th, 2024 at New Salem Cemetery.

Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Angie Forsyth of Lester, sons, Jeremiah Forsyth and wife Kari of Athens, Joseph Forsyth and wife Tonya of Elkmont, daughters, Britney Burgreen and husband J.R. of Athens, Bevin Page and husband Andy of Athens, 11 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Richard Allen Forsyth.
