Charles Everett Jenkins died Wednesday, October 4th, 2023. He was born in Mississippi, and was 85 years old. He was co-valedictorian of his class at Shannon High School, was involved in 4-H, FFA, and Beta Club, and played football and baseball. He graduated Mississippi State University, with a Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired civil engineer with Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a member of Pulaski First United Methodist Church, a Mason, a Shriner, and a member of Pulaski American Legion Post 60. He was a member of the Giles County School Board, and served as vice-chairman. He was active in the Tennessee School Board Association, serving on the board of directors and as state president. He served as a Pulaski Alderman and was Vice Mayor for 7 years. He also served Pulaski on the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Taxicab Committee, and Education Committee.

Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at the First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Tennessee.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Zach Moffatt officiating.

Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski.

Survivors include a Daughter, Laura Jane Reynolds of Pulaski, 5 Grandchildren, Brother, Bill Jenkins, of South Carolina, Sisters, Ann Kowalkoski and husband Ron of Kentucky and Sarah Lynn Ruggles and husband Bill of Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, and Close friend Barbara Puryear, of Pulaski.
