William Charles Sanderson died May 12th, 2023 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Giles County and was 91 years old. He served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15th, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

Services will be Monday, May 15th, 2023 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Burial will be in the Minor Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Sanderson of Minor Hill, Daughters, Davidia & Stephanie Sanderson of Athens, Linda and husband Ronnie Tarpley of Prospect, Sons, Mike Sanderson of Ardmore, Ronald Sanderson of North Carolina, Terry Sanderson of Ardmore, 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and  Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for William Charles Sanderson.
