Peggy Joyce Mutschler, 81, of Illinois, died March 14th, 2023 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon. She was born in Giles County, and worked as a seamstress, waitress, and over the road truck driver.

Survivors include daughters, Teresa Durham of Illinois and Phyllis Olinger of Alabama, son, John Yant of Alabama, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Ann Howell of Alabama and Connie Blankenship of Alabama, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 17th, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Farina Park in Farina, Illinois with Pastor Jason Newell officiating.

Memorials are suggested in Peggy's honor to the American Heart Association.
