Wallace Leon Hood of Pulaski died Saturday at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born in Giles County and was 85 years old.

He was retired from Maremont Gabriel Corporation.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Denmon and Drady Roseanne Daily Hood; and daughter, Cathy Hood Hamby. 

Visitation will be until 1 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with funeral service beginning at 1 o'clock with James Nave officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Hood of Pulaski; son, Kevin Hood of Atlanta; daughter, Cynthia Parks and husband Roger of Pulaski; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Wallace Leon Hood.
