Wanda Mae Gordon Williams, a Giles County native, died Sunday at St. Thomas Mid-Town Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Bridgeforth High School and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ham Mason and Alfronia Gordon; husband, James Williams; two sisters; and three brothers.

Visitation will be Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. at Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at 3:#0 p.m. in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Columbia.

Survivors include 2 sisters: Myrtle Folston and Geneva Boyd; 5 brothers: Buford "Pete" Franklin, Robert Franklin and wife Abigail, William B. Franklin and wife Myrtle, Eric Franklin and wife Emily and William A. Franklin; 6 children: Abrell K. Gordon and wife Grace, Marshall Allen, Kendall Allen and wife Clara, Carol Williams, Tomaiko Williams and James A. Williams; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
