William Sulcer, age 102, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022. He was born in March, 1920, in Giles County, TN, to Minnie and Bud Sulcer.

William was predeceased by his loving wife of 70 years, Ella Rogers Sulcer. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Sally Taylor (Charlie) and Mamie Edmundson (Van), and brothers, Frazier Sulcer (Gladys) and Buford Sulcer (Alice).  William is survived by his four children, Edward Sulcer (Donna deceased), Pat Sulcer (Joy), Susan Primm (Ted), and Danny Sulcer (Debbie).  He is also survived by his devoted wife, Belinda Watson Sulcer; her children Michael Watson, Robert Watson, and Angela Warde (Michael); grandchildren Brian Sulcer, Richard Sulcer (Lauren), Wendi Parsons, and Amy Vanderford (Jeremy); seven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. 

Along with his sons, William was a very successful Giles county farmer until age 88 when he retired.  He continued to raise a garden until he was 97 years old and frequently shared his produce and homemade sweet pickles, fruit jellies, and preserves with family and friends.  He loved the land and he loved people. His caring heart and generosity will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, 1228 E. College St., Pulaski, TN.  Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the America Cancer Society, the Wounded Warrior Project, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
