Betty Jean Young Isaacs of Prospect died Nov. 10. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was 74 years old.

The Giles County homemaker was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Isaacs; parents, Mannon and Dena Curtis Young; sisters: Margaret Austin, Lora Mae Napier and Francis Wilson; and brothers: Homer Wooton, Lonnie Young and Paul Wooton.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Prospect Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ramey of New York; son, Randal Ramey of New Jersey; sisters: Nanny Campbell, Mildred Farler and Janice Newman; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
