William (Bill) James McAuley, age 85, formerly of Dorchester, Massachusetts, passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 85, in Pulaski, Tennessee.  He served in the United States Marine Core. He began a career in carbide and machine cutting tools, and later became a self-employed carpenter and all-around handy man.  He enjoyed working with his hands, and re-modeling rooms and homes.

He was married to Emily Olson and since divorced in 1987.  Bill is survived by Emily and their 3 daughters, Diana (husband Mike Torchetti), Dorothy ( husband Walter Groover), and Pamela ( husband Matthew Haupt), eight grandchildren (Ryan, John, Carl, Emily, Amanda, Kay, Kyle and Kristen) and 2 great-grandchildren (Evelyn and Meredith).

Cremation was selected as the method of Final Disposition and a

celebration of Bill McAuley’s life will be set for a future date.
