Tommy Mimms Jr. of Pulaski died Saturday at Maury Regional Hospital. He was born in Knoxville and was 77 years old.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard , a member and song leader at Beech Hill Church of Christ,

Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial will be in Beech Hill Cemetery with full military honors.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Beech Hill Church of Christ, in care of Pete Britton, 5690 Beech Hill Road, Pulaski, TN 38478.

He is survived by his wife, Cherry Lee Underwood Mimms of Pulaski; sons: Eric Hamilton Mimms and wife Ginger of Murfreesboro and Edward Randal Mimms and wife Nancy of Elmwood; and 4 grandchildren.
