Michael Jordan LaMasters of Tallahoma died Thursday at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and was 68 years old.

He was a nurse practitioner and counselor and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lon and Sarah Katherine Jordan LaMasters; and a niece, Abbie Bondurant.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his sister, Renee Bondurant of Lynchburg; brothers: Tommy Bondurant and wife Charlotte of Winchester and Terry LaMasters and wife Leslie of Virginia; 2 nephews, Bruce Winterburn and Brant Bondurant of Pulaski; nieces, Shelly Winterburn Gorham, Jill Russell, Jessica Christian and Mellisa LaMasters. Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.
