Leona Jackson died Monday in Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Pulaski. She was born in Lawrenceburg, was a retired school teacher and was 91 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil V. and Lily Bishop Cates; and husband, Orbery Jackson.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.

Survivors include sons: Orbery Jackson Jr. of Cosby, Robert Cecil Jackson of California and Richard Michael Jackson of Virginia: daughter, Cathy Callahan of Missouri; sister, Billie Guthrie of Mississippi; 7 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
