Lois Story Hyatt of Pulaski died Oct. 11 at her residence. She was born in Lynnville and was 88 years old.

She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Memorial United Methodist Church, and retired from South Central Bell with 25 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Holly Hyatt; parents, Shirley Campbell and Martha Parker Story; brothers Raymond Story, Cordell Story and Dolly Story; sisters, Virginia Cullens, Mary Jones and Lorene Elkins; and son-in-law, Steve Blakely.    

Funeral services were held at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Burial was in Giles Memory Gardens.

Survivors include daughters: Beverly Blakely of Athens and Gwen Holder of Nashville; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Several nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends also survive.
