Dock Gaines of Pulaski passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital. He was born in Goodspring, TN on March 29th, 1925 and was 95 years old.

After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he graduated from Bodenham High School. He retired from Bell South after 36 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement years working on his farm and gardening. He was a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Pulaski.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 from 11:00am until 1:30pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

A graveside service will follow at Maplewood Cemetery at 2:00pm with Brandon Bass and Debbie Eubank officiating. Full military honors to be held.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Iva Sue Gaines, brothers, James Gaines, Thomas Gaines, Rolan Gaines, and Howard Gaines and sister, Danese Windsor.
