Mary Faye Kedrie was born in Wayne County Tennessee on May 10, 1941 to Eugene and Charity Potts, the 3rd of their 9 children.

Mary Faye Kedrie passed away on May 26th, 2020 at her home in Centennial Colorado. Her sons Arthur Lee Kedrie and Abdul Eugene Kedrie as well as daughter-in-law Janice Kedrie were at her bedside when she drew her last breath and preceded them to Heaven.

Mary Faye Kedrie fought a long battle with Sarcoidosis and MDS before passing peacefully at home in Hospice.

She will always be fondly remembered for her gentle, peace-loving ways and her zest for life. Her passions were family, music, dancing, and Jesus. Her faith sustained her during her final days. She was ever positive and without complaint, and her most common phrase during this time was, "I feel pretty good today".

Mary Faye Kedrie is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Charity Potts of Ethridge, TN, siblings Harold Gene Potts of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jerry Norman Potts of Pulaski, TN, Larry Eugene Potts of Pulaski, TN, and Nona Sue Hendrix of Smyrna, TN.

She is survived by her oldest son Arthur Lee Kedrie of Fairplay, CO and his 5 children; Farrah Ann Mock of Danville, PA, Austin Lee Kedrie of Tampa FL, Tiffany Leigh Ortega of Temperance, MI, Laura P Cunningham of Fairplay, CO, Allan M Cunningham of Amman, Jordan, and Arthur Lee' s five grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her youngest son Abdul Eugene Kedrie of Toledo, OH and his 3 children; Morgan Kedrie, Jozlyn Ann Kedrie, and Jagger Dean Kedrie, all of Toledo, Ohio. Finally, she is survived by her siblings Beatrice Aline Sircey of Smyrna, TN, Joyce Marie Wynn of Pulaski TN, Charlie Richard Potts of Loretta, TN, and Robert Lee Potts of Tyner, NC.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with the burial to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
