Virgil Watson Wiser of Pulaski died Wednesday. He was born in Pulaski and he was 85 years old.

He worked in the auto industry and his passion was restoring the classic cars. It was said of him that he was a loving father and grandfather, and that he left Giles County in 1948 and spent the next 40 years trying to get back. He worked in the Auto Industry and his passion was restoring the classic cars.

Visitation will be held noon to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home

Graveside services will follow visitation Friday at 2:30pm in Giles Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Dean Wiser of Pulaski; son, Randall Virgil Wiser of Pulaski; brother, Edward Wiser of Hermitage; sister, Judy Vaugh of Manchester; and 7 grandchildren. Several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
