James Denmon Hood, age 90 of Pulaski passed away November 25, 2019, after a short illness. He was born September 28, 1929 to the late Roland and Drady Daily Hood and was retired from the Giles County Highway Department.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Dezzie Tipper Hood, his 4 brothers, and his 4 sisters.

Survivors include his sons, Nelson Hood and wife Janice, and Charles Hood and wife Marsha, both of Pulaski, his ½ brother, Roger Scruggs of Lewisburg, and ½ sister, Joyce Daniels of Hermitage, his grandsons, Danny and Jonathan Hood, his granddaughters, Amanda Hendrix and Kristy King, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November, 29, 2019 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in the Old Shores Cemetery.
