Odell Smith Taylor, age 78, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born on May 3, 1941 in Ardmore, AL to the late Henry and Annie Simpson Smith. She was a former employee of Blue Ridge Manufacturing, Cosmolab and Genesco. She was of the Church of Christ faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Obra Thurman Taylor; sisters: Virgie Henderson and Mary Ann Smith; brother: Harry Ray Smith; and granddaughter: Tiffany Ann Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters: Judy Ann (Robert) Frost of Lawrenceburg, TN and Donna Fay (David) Cothren of Hazel Green, AL; sons: Obra Danny (Deborah) Taylor of Prospect, TN, David Ray Taylor of Pulaski, TN and Dewayne Taylor of Goodsprings, TN; sisters: Ruby Dollar, Emma (Junior) Massey and Mazie Ann Thomas all of Fayetteville, TN; brother: Henry Daniel Smith of Pulaski, TN; eight grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
