Jerry Donald Hibdon died Tuesday at Maury Regional Hospital. He was born in Smithville, and was 76 years old.      

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, attended Martin Methodist College along with Bethel College and MTSU where he received his Masters Degree in Physical Education. He was inducted to the Sports Hall of Fame at both Martin Methodist College and Bethel College. In 1975, Jerry and his wife, began ownership of Sports World until their retirement in 2013.

Arrangements are on Saturday, September 28 at First United Methodist Church in Pulaski from 1:00-4:00pm,  a Celebration Of Life will follow.

He is survived by his Wife, Wendy Hibdon of Pulaski. two Sons, Jeff Hibdon and wife Jennifer of Decatur, and Todd Hibdon and wife Shana of Pulaski, one brother, John L  Hibdon and wife Vickie of Mt. Juliet. Survivors also include two sisters, Nina Moss and husband James of Virginia, and Joyce Mullinax of Smithville, and two grandchildren.
