Vera Joyce Chaffin died at her home on Monday.  She was 88 years old.

She was born and raised in Pulaski, and was a 1951 graduate of Martin Methodist College. She was retired from First National Bank where she was also on the Board of Directors.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, from 11:00am until 12:00pm with a graveside service to follow at 12:30pm at Maplewood Cemetery with Tony Gomillion officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial gifts be made to First Baptist Church- Pulaski

Survivors include her husband Ernest Glenn Chaffin, Sr. of Pulaski,

A Son, Ernest Glenn Chaffin, Jr. of Pulaski, one Daughter, Laura Ann Moffett and husband Hugh of Fayetteville.

One Brother, U.T. and wife Betty Fitzgerald of Mt. Washington, KY, and a Sister, Barbara Cole of Athens.
