Betty Jean Jones died Monday in Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Pulaski. She was born in Lawrence County and was 69 years old.

No services have been planned. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include special friends: Paulette Pinkelton Bass and Betty Womble, both of Pulaski; brother, Jim Thornton and wife Alene of Ohio; daughter-in-law, Susan Poss of Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Carr and Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Betty Jean Jones.
