Roland Earl Hazelwood, age 90 of Athens died Friday at his residence. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of Salem Springs Baptist Church and retired from J&J Oil Company.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be at 1 pm on Thursday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Kip McKee officiating.   Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery

Survivors include, one daughter, Melinda Kerr of Huntsville, a   brother, Dena Hazelwood of Estill Springs, and a sister, Evelyn Bennett of Murfreesboro.

Four Grandchildren, two Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
