John Lyndall Ashton, age 74, died Saturday at VA Hospital in Nashville.

He was born in Lewisburg, and a retired maintenance employee at Magotteaux.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am tomorrow (Tuesday) at Mars Hill Cemetery in Cornersville, TN.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Sandi Henderson and husband Tracy, and Christina Ashton both of Pulaski, and Rainey Holly and husband Glenn of Georgia. One brother, Jimmy Ashton, and 2 sisters, Estelle Ashton and Martha Sells all of Lynnville. Six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
