Stephen Bates Chapman of Pulaski died on Sunday, in Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was 68 years old.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from1:00 until 2:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow visitation on Tuesday at 2:00 in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro. Brandon Bass officiating.

Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery with full military honors.

He is survived by his son, Tracy McEowen of Athens. Sisters, Nelle Greene of Pulaski, Mary Trapp and husband Denver of Lawrenceburg and Martha Sue Hughey of Mt. Pleasant and a brother, Arvil Knox Chapman and wife Nancy of Pulaski.

Two grandchildren and several nices and nephews also survive.
