Herbert Gaines Burgess, age 91, died on Friday, in Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Pulaski.

He was born in Lawrence County, and retired from road construction. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 4PM to 8PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2PM at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Survivors are:  sons, Terry Burgess of Columbia, Steve Burgess of Pulaski, brothers, Kenneth Burgess of Michigan, Millard Burgess of Prospect, sister, Willa Frances Gatlin of Minor Hill, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren.

Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements is in charge of the arrangements for Herbert Gaines Burgess.
