A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of one person and critical injuries to another in Hohenwald last week.

The shootings took place Friday at a home on Mountain View Road.

TBI Agents found 28-year-old Van Franklin Cates dead from a gunshot wound at the home, and a female inside the home was also injured and flown to a Nashville hospital with critical injuries.

According to the TBI, investigators determined the teen boy was responsible for the shootings. He was taken to a juvenile holding facility Friday and charged with criminal homicide.

No additional information has been released, and the investigation into the incident continues.
