The Pulaski Lion’s Club is looking for volunteers to Rise Against Hunger.

The fund-raiser is a National Lions Clubs fundraiser and has a Giles County Goal of $17,000 locally.

The Pulaski Lions Club will meet to package the meals April 20th at the Giles County Agri-Park.

The effort allows Rise Against Hunger to prepare meal packages that are available to be sent wherever they are needed in the world.

The amount raised locally will go towards paying for the supplies required to make and package the meals. The goal is to raise enough to ship out 40,000 meal packs to wherever they are needed.

The Lion’s Club is looking for volunteers to come and help in packaging the meals Saturday, April 20th.

Those who’d like to volunteer or donate are asked to contact Benny Birdsong at 638-6216 or Jerry Farmer at 478-0145, or any other member of the Lions Club.
