In an update to an earlier story…

In response to the recent legal complaint and threatened lawsuit against County Executive Graham Stowe and Giles County, an agreement was reached on Friday afternoon. 

The decision to rescind the gazebo permission for June 3rd stands. 

Permission has now been granted for Mrs. Guthrie’s group to assemble on the east steps of the courthouse. 

This arrangement ensures the two groups may peaceably assemble without conflicting with one another.
