The Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce is planning the 28th annual Ardmore Crape Myrtle Festival on August 22nd from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at John Barnes Park located at 30515 Ardmore Ridge Road in Ardmore.
The admission to the festival is free and will be an outdoor celebration of the Ardmore community.
There will be entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, delicious festival food, and all types and colors of crape myrtles.
The festival is one of the two largest fundraisers for the Chamber.
At the close of early-bird registration, there are more than 40 vendors participating in this year’s festival.
A few of the new vendors this year will be Dixie Wreaths by Marypat.
She will have unique one-of-a-kind handmade wreaths and farmhouse decor.
Also, Jim's Woodturning will have an assortment of wood-turned items including bowls, birdhouses, and more.
The Chamber is taking several COVID-19 precautions to keep attendees safe.
“The festival is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come out and support the Chamber and see some wonderful crafts and experience our local culture,” said Yolandia Eubanks, Director of the Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce.
The Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce serves two states, four counties, and one community.
