The Minor Hill Police reported seven citations including two assaults, two aggravated assaults, one filing a false police report, one speeding, and one violation of probation during the Mayor and Alderman meeting.
The board approved a motion to add Randy Ervin as a reserve officer and on completion of the training academy to a full-time officer.
Ervin will be replacing officer Zach Powell who recently resigned to accept another position in law enforcement.
The motion passed 4-1 to add the new officer with alderman Clinton Tankersley voting against.
The financial report was approved and showed the city with an income of $21,918.97 and expenses totaling $18,122.69 resulting in a net income of $3,796.28.
The Board plans to see examples of neighboring property upkeep and considers adopting an ordinance in  Minor Hill.
