A charity run for others sponsored by the Giles County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 94 and Giles County Sheriff Helton begins Saturday morning.

The 4 and 6 mile run or walk starts at 8 a.m. on the Blue Creek Road in Lynnville. Registration will cost $20 per runner.

According to Sheriff Kyle Helton the run or walk gives back to the community including events such as Cops for Kids later this year.

Prizes will be given to winners in each age division and shirts will be for sale at the event.
