Southern Tennessee Regional Health System announces a new physician will open her office in Ardmore Monday.

Robyn Wilson grew up in a small town in Alabama and knew medicine would be her life's work after going on a medical mission trip as a senior in high school. After graduating high school, she attended Auburn University and received a degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Wilson participated in the Rural Medicine Program, spending a year learning more about the social and health needs of rural communities.

She attended University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in 2019.

Doctor Wilson is trained in full spectrum family medicine, caring for children, women, men, and the elderly.

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nurse practitioner Robyn Thigpen will also be seeing patients.
