Monday is Columbus Day and it's considered a federal holiday. As a reminder, all banks will be closed, and no mail delivery as all post offices will be closed.

However it’s not a holiday for everyone. All Giles County government offices will be open, as well as the Pulaski city offices, which include garbage pickup, which will be running as usual.

Giles County school students are enjoying the week off and will reopen on Monday.
