The Spring Hill Fire Department is now accepting applications for a full-time firefighter position.

The starting pay is $37,249.63, and applications will be accepted by the Fire Department until the position is filled.

The role would require the selected individual to respond to all types of fire suppression, medical, rescue and non-emergency calls. Additionally, the job may include administering medical care and performing vehicle extractions.

The screening process will include an interview process, a written exam, agility testing and a medical physical.

Requirements for the position include a high school diploma or equivalent, a state of Tennessee Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license, as well as a Firefighter 1 certification from the state of Tennessee.
