The Giles County Board of Education will hold its monthly meeting today (Thursday, September 6th) in the Central office building, at 5 p.m.
The Board is set to discuss policies concerning the school district planning, district water testing, homebound instruction and more.
Second readings of policies including Insurance management, Application and Employment, Background Investigations, the qualifications and duties of the Director of Schools, Code of Conduct, Corporal Punishement and child abuse and neglect, will be examined.
Board members for the Budget, Policy, Transportation Legislative, Sick Leave Bank, Facilities, Insurance and Ethics committees will be elected.
