Maury Regional Medical Center again has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Heart Failure Certification. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

The medical center underwent a rigorous on-site review by Joint Commission experts who evaluated compliance with national disease-specific care standards as well as with heart failure-specific requirements. Clinical practice guidelines and performance measures also were assessed.

MRMC has held certification in heart failure treatment since 2015. In addition, the medical facility is accredited by The Joint Commission under its hospital, laboratory and home health programs. MRMC holds advanced certification from The Joint Commission for inpatient diabetes care and holds certification for hip and knee joint replacement as well as care of sepsis.
