TWO ARE IN CUSTODY FOLLOWING A MANHUNT THURSDAY THAT ORIGINATED IN HICKMAN COUNTY. MEDIA SOURCES REPORT,  THE PURSUIT WAS INITIATED BY THE CENTERFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT AFTER THE SUSPECT REPORTEDLY FIRED SHOTS AT POLICE DURING AFTER BEING PULLED OVER. THE HIGH SPEED CHASE ENDED WHEN THE SUSPECT VEHICLE CRASHED IN MAURY COUNTY ON HAMPSHIRE PIKE NEAR CROSS-BRIDGES RD. THE SUSPECT WHO HAD A WARRANT OUT OF CHEATHAM COUNTY, FLED INTO THE WOODS. HE WAS LATER APPREHENDED HOURS LATER WITHIN THE TWO MILES OF WHERE HE FLED. A FEMALE WAS ALSO TAKEN  AND TRANSPORTED TO MRH. MEMBERS OF THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL, MAURY COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT, MAURY COUNTY EMA , COLUMBIA POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND WILLIAMSON COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT AND ASSISTED.
