THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH HAS ANNOUNCED THAT, AS OF MONDAY, NEARLY A QUARTER OF THE TENNESSEE POPULATION HAS RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE DOSE OF A COVID-19 VACCINATION. ALMOST 3 MILLION DOSES HAVE BEEN ADMINISTERED IN TENNESSEE WITH THE SPEED OF ADMINISTRATION STEADILY INCREASING. GILES COUNTY IS CURRENTLY REPORTING 21.17 PERCENT OF THEIR POPULATION HAVING RECEIVED AT LEAST ONE DOSE OF A COVID-19 VACCINE, WITH 9,796 DOSES ADMINISTERED TO DATE, LAWRENCE COUNTY IS REPORTING 20.36 PERCENT WITH 14,021 DOSES, MAURY COUNTY 31.87 PERCENT WITH 47,294 DOSES AND WAYNE COUNTY 26.94 PERCENT WITH 14,606.
